Prayer walking is great discipline and we know that we are exercising obedience in affecting the spiritual atmosphere of the town for the better; it's also a lot of fun too!  Although Ashford Middlesex is quite a small town, it takes on a new perspective when you prayer walk it on foot! 

Prayers spoken while prayer walking are no more or no less powerful then when spoken at home; the idea behind prayer walking is that we spend time around the streets of our town making ourselves available for the Lord to show us specifically who or what He wants us to pray for. 

The Lord has spoken to us many times over the years leading us to pray over homes, businesses, governing bodies and the general infrastructure of the town and now we are starting to see the fruit.  We've also met a number of people on the way and it's been a privilege to be able to chat and sometimes pray specifically for them and their various situations.    

Remember it's better to 'obey then pray'.
